This race was held at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia. This is the same site that the 1996 Olympic mountain bike events were held. This weekend offered Time Trial, Short Track, Dual Slalom, and Cross Country. The ETSU team showed the conference that we are a force to be reckoned with in Dual Slalom (DS)racing. We finished with nine riders in the top five in Men's A, including a sweep of the top four positions by Geoff Fryer, Thomas Wilkinson, Alex Ohman, and Alex Honkonen. New on the collegiate race scene is Alan Sparks aka "Coach" racing in Men's B. Alan used his bmx background to dominate the field on his way to a 2nd place finish in his first race. In the time trial (TT)Alex Ohman finished as the top rider for the Men's A team in 10th. Thomas Jarratt, Chris Vella, and Geoff Fryer took 12th, 13th, and 14th respectively. In Men's B Schyler Johnson finished 7th followed by Alan "Coach" Sparks in 11th, and Greg Kaufman in 13th. Rounding out the day was short track. Men's A short track (ST) was led by Thomas Jarratt in 9th, followed by Chris Vella in 15th and Alex Ohman in 16th. In the Men's B race, Greg Kaufman finished 12th followed by Alan "Coach" Sparks in 13th. Thomas Jarratt led the Men's A team in the cross country (XC) race on Sunday finishing 10th.
